چکیده

Cinnamomum camphora (L.) Presl essential oil (CCEO) is a volatile with aroma and extracted from various tissues of Cinnamomumcamphora. It traditionally used as spice, preservative, an anti-inflammatory for sterilization. Terpenoids are the main active components in CCEO. Based on currently available research, considerable effort still needed to study biosynthesis regulation terpenoids In this review, research progress related terpenoid bioactivity CCEO recent years summarized, data compiled presented mainly online resources such PubMed, Scopus CNKI China up May 2022. The advances key enzymes pathway discussed. Previous studies have isolated some genes encoding involved biosynthesis; however, among these genes, only few TPS been verified catalyze production synthases at protein level. Most cloned isolated, but no transgenic experiments carried out verify gene function. In-depth may contribute better understanding differential accumulation different types C. provide reference improving content
